Telecommunications Tower Foreman $37 - $48 per hour - Calgary or Spruce Grove, AB

Our client, a national leader in telecommunications and wireless infrastructure, is seeking two experienced Foremen to lead crews out of either their Calgary or Spruce Grove facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for a safety-first professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and team management.

As a Tower Foreman, you will meet daily at the shop, manage company assets, and drive your crew to project sites across the region while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Calgary, AB or Spruce Grove, AB (Travel required)
Schedule: Full-Time Overtime after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week (Foreman on the clock for driving)
Environment: Outdoors / Heights / Telecom Infrastructure Construction & Retrofit
Wage: $37.00 to $48.00 per hour (Based on experience) + Weekly Pay

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
- Crew Leadership: Direct, supervise, and mentor a cell site crew across construction, maintenance, and retrofitting projects.
- Tower Operations: Work safely at heights, climbing and building towers alongside your crew while overseeing rigging and installations.
- Asset & Equipment Management: Maintain accountability for company equipment, tools, trailers, and the designated crew truck.
- Technical Oversight: Interpret engineered, RF, and DC drawings to direct installations and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve transmission faults.
- Safety Leadership: Drive a strict safety-first culture on-site, ensuring 100% compliance with safe work practices and safety plans.
- Quality & Daily Operations: Meet at the shop daily, transport crew to job sites, ensure exceptional build quality, and maintain positive relationships with clients and co-workers.

Qualifications
What are we looking for in a candidate?
- Industry Experience: Strong background in wireless and cell site installation with direct experience in tower climbing and structural building/retrofits (industry experience strongly preferred).
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record leading, managing, and taking accountability for field crews.
- Technical Skills: Mechanically inclined with demonstrated proficiency reading RF/DC engineered drawings and locating complex transmission faults.
- Requirements: Valid Canadian Driver’s License, clean driving record, physical fitness for outdoor work at heights, and willingness to travel.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, reliable, trustworthy, and a safety-focused mindset.
