Key responsibilities include advancing quality and patient safety, supporting the recruitment and development of physicians, and contributing to the organization's academic, education, research, and innovation agenda. Applicants for the Chief and Medical Director position must be experienced, inclusive, and visionary leaders with a background in medical leadership, clinical practice, strategy, and operations. The role requires a physician licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario or eligible for licensure, with certification in an anaesthesia specialty as recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent certification.
