Job description

Dr. Bhupinder Paul Khaper is looking for a RN to join our team. We are open to both part-time and full-time candidates.

Requirements :

Previous experience in Pediatrics and / or Obstetrics / Gynecology preferred.

Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.

Ability to work in conjunction with other healthcare professionals.

Posses a diploma / degree in Nursing and a current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario,

Key Duties

Performs comprehensive and focused health assessments that include health history and complete physical evaluation.

Complete and document a thorough medication assessment. Maintain an accurate list of all current medications by reviewing at each visit and assessing adherence.

Provide telephone and in-person triage according to established practice protocol.

Administer immunizations as per Public Health Ontario guidelines. Update and provide patients with Immunization Record.

Perform PAP smears, document appropriately, and communicate any concerns to the Physician.

Preform baby well exams and document all aspects of care thoroughly via the Rourke 2020 document and report assessment to Physician.

Review test results, communicate with Physician re : abnormalresults.

Follow Obstetric patients until they can see their Obstetrician in collaboration with Physician. This includes monitoring fetal heart rate, assessing patients vitals, collecting appropriate samples, creating referrals when appropriate and documenting all assessments via the Ontario Prenatal Record.
