You will also be able to fully participate in the Spring Staffing process to secure an assignment for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications : Diploma or Masters in thearea of Inclusive Education preferred OR at least three courses in thefollowing areas : Theoretical foundations of inclusive education Child and youth development and exceptionality such as development disability, physical disability, or ASD Inclusive instructional and assessment practices for diverse classrooms Social emotional learning and mental health related learning needs.
This may include course work on trauma informed practice, various aspects of mental health or positive behavioral support.
Queens special education part 1 and 2 meets the qualifications for this position.
