About the Role

The Security Solutions Data Science team is responsible for creating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models for Mastercard’s authentication and authorization networks. Models are production ready and back specific products. The Data Science team also develops automated processes for creating models from data extraction to delivery, designed to scale, be repeatable, resilient, and industrialized.

We are building AI and ML fraud detection solutions applied across cross-channel platforms in Fortune 500 companies within financial technology and payments processing. We seek a highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills to structure and engineer data and to advance AI model evaluation and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with data scientists to understand the current modeling pipeline and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop ML tools that scale to solve complex problems for data scientists in the modeling teams.
• Develop and maintain high-throughput computation engines capable of handling petabytes of data.
• Assist the deployment team to deploy and validate production artifacts.
• Identify patterns and innovative solutions, simplify and automate tasks, and build reusable components for multiple use cases and teams.
• Create products that are well-architected, thoroughly documented, and easy to understand and maintain.
