Job description
We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at an Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 site in Vancouver. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the property while providing excellent customer service to our clients.
Schedule:
- Sunday 0000 - 0800
- Wed - Fri 0000 - 0800
Payrate: $25.83/hr
Some of your responsibilities include:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide access control and issue passes as required.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property and grounds on foot.
- Monitor and safeguard people property buildings and equipment.
- Actively monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Serve as a first responder in emergencies providing immediate First Aid to employees.
- Log and monitor all deliveries.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
- Report incidents to the Site Supervisor and submit detailed investigation reports.
Your Must-Haves:
- Valid BC Security License.
- Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 certification.
- Experience with CCTV and access control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
