What Youll Do
Support and implement vendor and customer API integrations ensuringtheyreset up correctly and running smoothly in production.
Investigate and resolveproductionAPI issues debugging complex problems and working with stakeholders to keep things moving.
Build monitoring alerts and dashboards that help us spot issues early and keep our APIs reliable.
Deliver bug fixes enhancements and operational improvements that make our APIs easier to use and more stable over time.
Collaborate with customers vendors and internal engineering teams to ensure seamless API adoption and support.
What Youll Bring
A university degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or a combination of education andpreviousexperience would be considered.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with object-oriented programming (Java or C# preferred).
Comfortable building and supporting REST APIs in cloud environments like AWS.
Great communicator who works well in collaborative cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
Experience with test-driven development and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
Familiarity with Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
Background in fintech payments or regulated industries with exposure to customer-facing integrations and incident response.
This position canbe located inSt. Johns orToronto andoffers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office subject to change) providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
