Journeypersons will be provided a base hourly rate of $50.75/hour
Mechanics who live and work in Hinton Whitecourt or Edson will be paid a skilled trade premium of $3/hour
Mechanics who live and work in Grande Prairie Beaverlodge and Valleyview will be paid a skilled trade premium of $5/hr

Work is based in your home shop with occasional travel to field operations in your locale
As LHL respond to changing weather conditions some on call duties may be required

Camp accommodations available in Edson only
Perform maintenance and repair of plows/sanding trucks loaders light support gear and heavy construction equipment
Perform CVIP inspections on trucks and trailers
Attend service calls in the field as required
Follows manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
Engages and participates in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (On-Road & Off Road) or a registered Apprentice
Experience with heavy civil construction highway paving or highway maintenance equipment (e.g. snowplows) is an asset
CVIP mechanic license is an asset
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Valid Drivers License with the ability to provide a 3-year drivers abstract
Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions including those with sketches and diagrams
Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
