The successful candidate
will: Possess an Alberta Teaching Certificate or be eligible for one. Have experience in following the Teaching Quality Standard (TQS) and infusing literacy across the curriculum. Hold a Bachelor’s degree of Education. Benefits of GYPSD The Division is committed to strong professional development and each teacher and principal has the opportunity to apply for up to $2,500 per year to support professional learning. The Division also provides $725 per year for teachers to allocate within a Health and Wellness Spending Account. Available Leaves: Personal leave of absence, 4 days per school year May accumulate up to 11 total personal leave days, see the Local ATA Collective Agreement for further details. Sick leave, up to 90 days leave Family Medical Leave, up to 3 days per school year Bereavement/Critical Care Leave Deferred Salary Leave Plan Northern Student Teacher Bursary: GYPSD is a participating School Division within the Northern Student Teacher Bursary.
