Join Our Team at Lakeland Catholic School Division!ASSISTANT CUSTODIANPart-Time (0.50 FTE/ 4 hours per day/ Mon-Fri) – Temporary Notre Dame Elementary School Bonnyville, AlbertaLakeland Catholic School Division is currently accepting applications for a Part-time (0.50 FTE) temporary Assistant Custodian at Notre Dame Elementary School in Bonnyville, Alberta. This is a temporary position to cover a leave of absence and will remain in effect until the return of the incumbent.Serving students in an elementary setting, this position requires a dependable individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful learning environment. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with the Head Custodian and school administration to support the overall care and upkeep of the school facility while contributing to a welcoming, faith-centred school community.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAssist with daily cleaning and sanitation of classrooms, hallways, washrooms, offices, and common areasSupport routine custodial and light maintenance tasks, including floor care, waste removal, and restocking suppliesAssist with room setups and takedowns for school events and activitiesMonitor building conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns as requiredFollow established health, safety, WHMIS, and division proceduresWork cooperatively with custodial staff and school administrationContribute to a safe, orderly, and respectful Catholic school environmentPerform other related duties as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious custodial or building maintenance experience is considered an assetAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform custodial duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsKnowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and safe work practicesDemonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethicAlignment with the mission and values of Catholic educationADDITIONAL ASSETSExperience working in a school or educational settingWHMIS training or willingness to obtainFamiliarity with custodial equipment and floor care systemsStrong interpersonal skills and a positive, respectful approach to teamworkHOW TO APPLYApplications for this posting will be accepted through ApplytoEducation.com or via email to .
