EXPERIENCED Fire Suppression Technician

Opportunities Nationwide | Everguard Fire and Safety

If you're an experienced Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician looking for a company that truly values your skills and experience — Everguard Fire and Safety wants to talk to you.

We’re a national fire and life safety services leader, and our team is growing. At Everguard, your expertise is recognized, your safety matters, and your pay is structured to reward your time and expertise.

Why Technicians Choose Everguard?

REAL Earnings, Not All‑In Rates

We aim to be different! We ensure you are rewarded for your time and expertise and unlike flat rate structures, we don’t bundle overtime, vacation, or premiums into a single “flat” rate.

You earn a strong base wage tied to your experience and expertise — and every premium is paid on top.

That means:

  • True Overtime Pay (not built in)

  • Shift & travel premiums added on top of base

  • Paid on‑call

  • Paid vacation and flex time on top of wages

  • ….and more.

On top of hourly earnings you have the added benefit of a comprehensive benefit offering:

  • Health, dental & insurance coverage

  • Employer‑matched retirement savings

  • Paid time holidays

  • Paid training & professional development

  • Employee & Family Assistance Program

  • Stable year‑round work with a safety‑first culture

Career Growth & Respect

Everguard is built around our values, Accountability, Continuous Improvement, and Teamwork. Your experience matters here - and you’ll be supported to grow in whichever direction you choose.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work across commercial, industrial, mining, and institutional sites, installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicle fire suppression systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting and validating vehicle fire suppression systems

  • Performing mechanical/electrical testing

  • Replacing, repairing, and certifying components

  • Reading/interpreting drawings, specs, and manuals

  • Evaluating customer needs and recommending solutions

  • Completing documentation and daily work reports

  • Mentoring junior team members

  • Participating in 24/7 on‑call rotation

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of field experience inspecting, testing, maintaining and/or installing vehicle fire suppression systems

  • Training in either Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Dafo, Fogmaker or other vehicle fire suppression systems

  • Other fire service certifications are an asset

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

  • Ability to work safely, independently, and professionally

  • Customer‑focused approach

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Willingness to work at remote sites and participate in overtime (with premium pay!)

If you don’t meet every qualification but have solid suppression experience, we still encourage you to apply.

Join a Team Where Your Skill — and Your Time — Are Worth More

If you’re looking for a company that pays fairly, invests in you, and values your expertise, Everguard is ready to welcome you.

Apply today.
