Posted : Thursday, January 15, 2026 Application Deadline : Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11 : 59 pm The Opportunity The Operations Department is comprised of three Branches : Administration, Parks and Forestry Operations, and Roads, Fleet and Technical Operations. Key responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of the City’s public works infrastructure and systems including roadways, rail, winter maintenance, parks, green spaces, forestry, and maintenance of the corporation’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. The Fleet Services Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of City vehicles and equipment, including automobiles, small and large trucks, specialized equipment with attachments, and unlicensed landfill, road building and maintenance equipment such as gradalls, backhoes, loaders, and graders so that City staff have functioning vehicles in order to do their jobs effectively.
