Job Description

As the Senior Product Designer, you will be the key creative force in our product development process. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and our Development team, to conceptualize, design, and ship new features and products.

This role requires a hands-on approach, a passion for solving complex problems, a self-starting attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Your work will have a direct impact on the user experience and the success of our products.

Key Responsibilities :

As the only Product Designer at Rewind, you will lead the end-to-end product design process, from discovery and research to concept, prototype, and final design.

You will take initiative to collaborate with Product Management to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints, translating them into effective design solutions, as well as partnering with Engineers to ensure high-quality implementation of your designs, maintaining a high standard of visual and interaction design throughout the product.

You will also :

  • Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Proactively conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Champion a user-centered design process, advocating for the best possible user experience in all stages of product development.
  • Drive the iterative design process, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve the product.
  • Establish and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and scalability across the product.
  • Communicate design decisions and rationale clearly to stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and feedback.
  • Actively seek out and propose new design opportunities that align with long-term business goals, whether through emerging trends, competitive analysis, or new technology.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have 7+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex B2B SaaS products.

You are proficient in wireframing / prototyping (ideally Figma), with a deep understanding of its capabilities for design, prototyping, and collaboration.

You also have :

  • Proven experience shipping high-quality digital products, working closely with Product and Engineering teams in an agile environment.
  • Exceptional understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Hunger to take ownership of the design process and work independently, as the sole designer in the company.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive Experience with user research and usability testing methodologies.
  • A proactive attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to continuously learn and grow.

Nice-to-Have :

  • Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
