Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools invites applications for a full time continuing teaching assignment to support the Emmaus Program, based out of E.D. Feehan High School, commencing the beginning of the 2026�2027 school year.
The Emmaus Program is a specialized, division-based initiative designed to support students (ages 12+) who are not currently able to attend school safely due to significant behavioural, safety, or legal concerns. This work focuses on re-engagement, relationship-building, and gradual reintegration into school.
Rooted in Gospel virtues, this work is grounded in dignity, compassion, and the belief that each student is created in the image of God. The Emmaus Program reflects our commitment to walking alongside students who may feel disconnected, helping them move toward hope, accountability, and belonging.
The Emmaus teacher works collaboratively with a social worker and division team to provide individualized relationship-based programming through a structured, phased approach. Note: teacher and social worker work together with one student at a time- often for short periods in a community setting.
