Process and Production Planner

• Prepare detailed process travellers and BOMs for all active work orders.
• Incorporate and maintain customer drawings, specifications and requirements.
• Familiar with 3D modelling and drafting using CATIA V5 (preferred), with SolidWorks as an alternative asset for design and detailing.
• Required to be familiar with heat treatment, NDT, and various finishes used in the aerospace industry.
• Familiar with specifications, including AMS, ASTM, Bombardier (BAPS, PPS), Airbus, and Military Specifications (MIL).
• Actively work with production and engineering to determine best process flow.
• Actively work with purchasing to confirm processes and raw materials.
• Actively work with quality to incorporate improvements and corrective actions.
• Coordinate and manage changes to existing work orders.
• Release process travellers and drawing packages as required.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers as required.
• Read and interpret drawings.
• All other duties as assigned

• 5-7+ years' experience required.
• Work experience with COSS, Visual or JobBOSS ERP software.
• Active knowledge of machining, fabricating, assembly and finishing processes.
• Certificate, degree or training in manufacturing, machining or engineering.
• Previous aerospace experience preferred.
• Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
