What is offered to you : - Hybrid work model- A weekly paid salary- Two paid personal days per year after a three-month probation period- Quebec holiday pay- A secondary emergency fund where 4% of your salary is deposited weekly for personal use- If you become permanent after 6 months, you will be eligible for a full range of benefits offered by employerWe would love to meet : - Minimum College diploma in administration or equivalent- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, handling high-volume payroll processing- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Good knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and standards- Proficient in MS Office, particularly ExcelOther Language Requirements : English- Level of Proficiency Required : Advanced - Reasons for Language Requirement : support operations in another region, communicate with diverse partners, ensure legal compliance- Frequency of Use : DailyMain Responsibilities : - Enter payroll data for various hourly groups (unionized and non-unionized) across Canada- Balance payroll data, submit it to the Workday system, and ensure accuracy- Prepare and issue Records of Employment and manual payments- Prepare and analyze journal entries- Prepare and balance year-end payroll data and T4 slips- Answer employee questions and provide excellent customer service- Apply provincial and Canadian payroll regulations- Follow compensation rules according to different collective agreements- Monitor payroll policies and procedures- Perform electronic filing and other related tasksPlease forward your resume to Cristina Bilbao at cristina.
