Role and Facility Information

A full‑time Family Physician role in Courtenay, part of a Primary Care Network (PCN) community of five doctors with an in‑house dermatologist.

Team includes a social worker, mental health worker, podiatrist, investigative cardiology services, and an upcoming nurse‑in‑practice program.

Flexible on business model, open to negotiation and discussion. A cross cover scheme supports leave taking.

Compensation

Fee‑for‑Service. Additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) may include :

• Retention Premium : 6.93%
• Retention Flat Fee : $10,740
• Recruitment Incentive : $10,000 (full‑time)
• Relocation Funding available up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
• Fee Premium : 6.93%
• Annual Flat Fee : $10,739.52
• Rural CME : starting at $2,200.00 / annum in year 3 & 4 up to $4,400.00 / annum after 4 years
