About the Opportunity

On behalf of our client located in Ottawa, we are seeking a dynamic Office Manager to support a growing team. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment where they will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and act as a client-facing extension of the executive team.

Duties include but are not limited to :

  • General office management (e.g., liaising with vendors and suppliers, maintaining the office)
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding
  • Coordinate and attend meetings as well as take meeting minutes
  • Answer and redirect HR inquiries from employees and contractors on HR matters (e.g., payroll and benefits)
  • Conduct external research on behalf of the executive team
  • As a Security Officer, manage the security clearance process
  • Assist with logistics and promotions for trade shows, campaigns, and other events
  • Handle basic bookkeeping duties
  • Ad hoc administrative duties

About You

The successful candidate will have the following :

  • Minimum of 2+ years in a similar position
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain a top-secret security clearance
  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and computer skills

    This is a full time, permanent position offering a starting salary of $60,000 to $70,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package. Our client is located just East of downtown Ottawa and offers free parking onsite. This role is a 100% in-office position.
