About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client located in Ottawa, we are seeking a dynamic Office Manager to support a growing team. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment where they will have the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and act as a client-facing extension of the executive team.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- General office management (e.g., liaising with vendors and suppliers, maintaining the office)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding
- Coordinate and attend meetings as well as take meeting minutes
- Answer and redirect HR inquiries from employees and contractors on HR matters (e.g., payroll and benefits)
- Conduct external research on behalf of the executive team
- As a Security Officer, manage the security clearance process
- Assist with logistics and promotions for trade shows, campaigns, and other events
- Handle basic bookkeeping duties
- Ad hoc administrative duties
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
Minimum of 2+ years in a similar positionMust hold or be eligible to obtain a top-secret security clearanceAbility to work autonomously with little supervisionStrong multitasking and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and computer skillsAbout the Job
This is a full time, permanent position offering a starting salary of $60,000 to $70,000 annually and a comprehensive benefits package. Our client is located just East of downtown Ottawa and offers free parking onsite. This role is a 100% in-office position.
