Finance Manager

iSpire is a growing IT Service provider in Saint John, New Brunswick with operations centered in Atlantic Canada, but expanding internationally. Founded in 2007, iSpire’s main line of business is as a Managed Services Provider. In this role, iSpire’s team of professional technicians, network administrators, and senior technicians act as their customers’ external IT department. This approach allows small and medium size businesses to gain the power & knowledge base of a large IT department, without the large price tag. As such, iSpire handles everyday ticketing and special projects planning & execution for their customers, and in some cases act in a similar role to that of a CIO. Other lines of business for iSpire include Video Surveillance Systems, VoIP Phone Systems, Cloud Hosting Options, and Custom Application Development.

Job Overview – Full-Time in Office

The Finance Manager – Accountant oversees all aspects of financial accounting, payroll, and reporting for iSpire. This role ensures accuracy across systems including QuickBooks Online (QBOA) and Autotask, supports operational leaders with financial insight, and maintains compliance with CRA, HST, and GAAP standards. The successful candidate will balance day-to-day accounting functions with strategic financial oversight, helping iSpire maintain sound fiscal performance and informed decision-making.

Requirements

• Completion of a minimum 2-year Accounting program and / or equivalent accounting experience.
• Experience in payroll processing and tax remittances.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks / QBOA and working knowledge of other accounting software.
• Understanding of GAAP principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
