What is the opportunity?

This role supports various growth and client engagement initiatives undertaken by the business. The role worka closely with partners (Marketing, Digital, Legal / Compliance, Retail Enablement, etc.

to ensure campaigns and offers are executed successfully. The role also manages content resources across a variety of channels, primarily digital, that align to the RBC InvestEase business' strategy and goals

What will you do?

Work closely with the Director, Strategy and Business Initiatives to ensure successful execution of campaigns and initiatives undertaken as part of the business strategy

Identify and execute on strategic tactics to drive client and asset acquisition including campaigns, offers and internal RBC partnerships

Track and measure success of client acquisition and engagement campaigns and identify opportunities for improvement

Coordinate with internal partners on origination and management of content and communication assets for InvestEase across all channels (social media, public website, RBC Connect, etc.)

Proactively maintain detailed knowledge of the investments industry - and more specifically the online advice business (robo-advice) in both Canada and the US - through self-study, interaction with peers and partners and industry related courses and continuing education

Inform and educate partners, prospective clients and other stakeholders about InvestEase and the emerging robo industry

Work with other professionals to identify opportunities to develop new processes, tools, and services that impact own project, area of specialization, and / or the department

Introduce specialized concepts to develop innovative business solutions. Serves as an advisor, mentor, internal consultant, and / or helps drive new initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must have :

University undergraduate degree or equivalent

Experience in digital content creation, marketing communication and / or brand management

Demonstrated understanding of financial concepts and markets and how they impact client experience

Knowledge of digital-first business models and online investment industry (robo-advisory)

A client first attitude, and a creative and entrepreneurial mindset

Strong written and editorial skills; strong verbal communication skills

Effective planning, time management and organizational skills

3+ years of business experience with a specific focus on investment, wealth management, asset management or brokerage

Nice to have :

Post-secondary / industry specific education (CSC / IFIC or other) with focus on finance, marketing and / or journalism
