Role Summary
As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in servicing water treatment sites in accordance with local regulations requirements. This hands‑on role involves monitoring critical water quality parameters, such as pH and turbidity, to meet site specifications. Adherence to safety protocols and proactive customer service are essential components of this position. This position is mainly in job sites within Vancouver Island, although certain job sites may require travel or out‑of‑town work depending on availability.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the setup and removal of systems at project sites, ensuring timely executionPerform regular maintenance, and troubleshoot any issues that ariseMonitor pH and turbidity levels, conduct water sampling, and communicate project status to all stakeholdersAccurately track equipment movements and manage consumable replenishmentCreate service reports and fill out log sheets as required for each siteAdhere to safety procedures and actively participate in safety initiatives to foster a safe working environmentMaintain strong customer relationships, addressing complaints and gathering feedback throughout projectsIn‑charge of shipping and receiving, maintenance and repair, and maintaining inventory in the warehouseBe available for on‑call and emergency situations as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications
1 year of previous work experience preferably within the Water Treatment / Construction industrySelf‑starter with strong initiativeValid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatoryAbility to lift heavy loads of up to 50lbsAbility to work unsupervised throughout the workdayWillingness to travel 3-5 consecutive days and work overtime as needed, particularly during rainy seasons.Post‑secondary education in a technical or environmental field is preferredField or site experience is preferredSkills

This role involves regular driving to and from these sites. Technicians will encounter a range of environments, from urban settings to remote locations, while working closely with various teams to ensure optimal water treatment operations.
