Position : Architectural Technologist
Location : Toronto
Our Client is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to support a major hospital project in Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise, Revit skills, and experience in large-scale projects to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Technical Documentation : Develop detailed design and construction documents with precision, ensuring all work aligns with project standards and regulations.
- Revit Expertise : Utilize Revit for drafting, modeling, and detailing tasks. Contribute effectively in a shared Revit model environment as part of a large project team.
- Large Project Collaboration : Apply your experience from large-scale projects to this complex healthcare project, coordinating effectively with various stakeholders and team members.
- Quality Assurance : Maintain high-quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all deliverables are accurate and reflect the project’s requirements.
- Team Coordination : Work closely with senior staff and other project team members, following directions and contributing to a productive and positive team dynamic.
Qualifications :
- 8+ years of experience in a primarily production-focused role, specializing in Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD).
- Advanced proficiency in Revit for drafting, modeling, and detailing.
- Experience working on large project teams using shared Revit models.
- Proven experience on large projects, ideally within the healthcare or institutional sectors.
- P3 experience is an asset but not required.
- Demonstrated longevity at previous firms is preferred.
- Ability to produce high-quality drawings, with samples to be provided prior to interviews.
- Strong work ethic, ability to take direction well, and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
