The incumbent provides a positive learning environment for the students in the oral health programs to assist students in acquiring entry to practice competencies. The incumbent will provide support requiring independent judgment, technical specialization, and experience chairside in the dental clinics. The incumbent will communicate with the Dental Clinic Administrator to discuss student progress and ensure equity of student experiences. The incumbent will liaise with the Dentists, as well as the clinical oral health demonstrators and lead instructors, for calibration of clinical processes.

Location/Campus Thunder Bay Campus Education Minimum level of formal education required for the position 2 year diploma or equivalent education Specific course(s), certification, qualification, formal training or accreditation required for the position Additional Requirements Experience must be current with the last 5 years.
Field(s) of Study Registered to practice as a self-initiating dental hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
