Our client, a leading insurancepany, is looking to add a Srpliance Analyst to their team for a 6-month contract. This position will be based out of our office in Waterloo or North York (depends on candidate's preference).
Your new role
- This role is part of a team responsible for the support of all aspects of thepliance function for Application Services, including playing a key role on SOC1, SOC2 and SOX audits and ongoingpliance monitoring of various IT Generalputing controls.
- Actively participate in various SOC1 and SOC2 and SOX audits by : Helping to facilitate meetings between subject matter experts and auditors.
Coordinating with subject matter experts in responding to requests for information from auditors.Assisting with gathering of evidence and documentation.
Analyze observations raised by auditors, escalating to manage as required.Assist in the creation of management responses.
Assist with collating SOC 2 report and coordinating reviews and publication.
- Assist with executing controls and monitoring procedures, prepare stakeholder and senior managementmunications.
- Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness ofpliance controls and monitoring.
- Assist in the establishment ofpliance controls related to application development and support.
What you need to succeed
- Experience inpliance or a similar discipline preferably in the financial services industry.
- Knowledge of IT Generalputing Controls (e.g., SOX / COBIT, SSAE, NIST, PCI, SOC, SOC2).
- Familiarity with the general processes and stages of an audit as it relates to SOC1 , SOC2 and SOX audits.
