Key Responsibilities

The Structural Surveyor is responsible for professionally and efficiently undertaking surveys as part of a team, compiling survey findings, producing survey reports, developing repair specifications, and undertaking acceptance activities in a marine environment.

General Responsibilities

• Provide Naval Architecture advice and support to external and internal customers.
• Independently undertake technical work which requires coordination with colleagues and making a substantial contribution to assigned projects.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Comply with relevant business and ethics codes of conduct.
• Undertake engineering activities in a way that contributes to best practice.
• Work within the BMT Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures.
• Maintain your technical competency in your area(s) of specialization.
• Demonstrate willingness and active adoption of coaching and mentoring provided by senior staff and support with mentorship to junior staff in developing technical competency.
• Contribute to building a positive team culture through input, feedback and participation in team building and wellness activities.

Annual Salary : 105,000-130,000
