The successful candidate will work in a cross-functional product development environment of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, system test, and other software teams.
The position offered is for a minimum of 8-month placement. What will you do?
- Work within a scrum team to design, implement and test software for power converters, communication devices and industrial
- Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to refine, support. and deliver software.
- Work on embedded software framework, automated test environment, and custom development tools. What qualifications will make you successful?
- Background in Software Engineering
- C / C++ programming language
- Python or other scripting language
- Familiarity with : + Linux programming + Writing / debugging software + UML diagrams for Sequence, Hierarchical State Machines, and Data Flow.
- Read schematics and microelectronic device datasheets. + Basic Linux and Windows networking concepts. + Embedded Linux
- Test Plan creation and unit test environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to excel in a team oriented, project-based work environment
- A systematic and logical approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and work to tight deadlines to meet project needs What's in it for me? The base pay compensation for this full-time position is starting at CAD20.
