Custodian Temporary

0.75 FTE Temporary Custodian

The Custodian reporting to the Principal is responsible for providing a safe and clean work environment for staff and students by performing general cleaning and maintenance duties to the school property and grounds. This 0.75 FTE position is Monday-Friday 6 : 30 AM to 1 : 00 PM at St. Aloysius School Stratford. The hourly wage is $25.29 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operate cleaning equipment to remove scraps dirt heavy debris etc.
• Snow removal.
• Wash windows interior walls and ceilings.
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
• Sweep mop scrub and wax hallways floors and stairs.
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
• Tend grounds and plants as required by the Principal.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms lunchrooms and fixtures.
• Move furniture equipment and supplies.
• May perform minor repairs as required.
