Job Title: Electronic Assembler

Job Description

Engage in automated system-level testing of network switching equipment to ensure product functionality. This role involves monitoring test failures, assembling electrical components, and ensuring product quality through inspection and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated system-level testing on network switching equipment.
• Monitor failures during tests and report them to the Manufacturing Line Lead or Technician.
• Report any issues or improvements with test software or equipment.
• Assemble mechanical and electrical components of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) into product cases.
• Inspect PCBA and metal work according to inspection procedures.
• Conduct final assembly and packaging of products.
• Use fixtures and power/hand tools according to product specifications.
• Follow detailed process instructions to meet daily goals.
• Prepare and kit picklists for the lines and assist peers with water spider and de-trashing activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment by adhering to procedures.
• Contribute to team efforts by sharing ideas and achieving related results.
• Work at different workstations or areas on a rotational basis to reduce fatigue.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years experience in Manufacturing.
• 3+ years experience in Electrical Assembly.
• Line Assembly Experience.
• Familiarity with ISA, 5's, ESD, and lean manufacturing principles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP inventory is a plus.
• Test technician experience.
• PCB experience.

The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $22.00/hr.
