What are your contributions to the team?
- Support supplier source inspection activities (frequent travel)
- Provide technical support and monitor deliverables and quality requirements
- Participate in investigations of quality issues, initiate corrective action requests and contingency plans
- Evaluate the quality performance of the various suppliers assigned to your mandate
- Plan and validate first parts inspections (FAI) with suppliers
- Participate in various internal governance processes and submit progress reports on projects
- Ensure completion of the mandate in accordance with established objectives
- Develop positive relationships with internal collaborators.
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelor's degree in engineering
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in quality and / or operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in the aerospace or automotive industry
- You work with a minimum of supervision
- You are a team player, a good communicator and a self-starter. Leadership and interpersonal skills
- You have good oral and written communication skills in English and French
- You have experience in manufacturing and assembling components with GD&T
- You possess knowledge of aviation regulations and associated quality standards
- You are able to travel.
