Our valued public sector client requires a Senior Application Software Architect to assist in the implementation and in-service support for the delivery of the Future Aircrew Training System.
Background :
This federal government client supports aerospace initiatives and has been mandated to support a major and critical Future Aircrew Training Program.
This program aims to develop and implement a new, cohesive training program to replace the existing training systems for pilots and related aircrew roles.
The ability to generate sufficient numbers of new aircrew who are trained to standard is fundamental to the employment of aerospace capability.
This initiative will focus on the delivery and implementation of future aircrew training system across 3 Canadian base locations.
Tasks :
- Participate in all kick-off meetings for the 3 Canadian base locations to analyze information and timelines derived from meetings against the IM / IT requirements in order to develop presentations and provide consultations to IM / IT team.
- As part of the IM / IT Systems Engineering Design Team, participate in System Requirements Review (SRR) for Training Information Management System (TIMS), Collaboration Environment, System Architecture, Training Portal, Dashboards and Reporting, Training and Data Analytics, Data Plan, Integration with Other Systems, IM / IT Roadmap, etc.
- Develop Presentation(s), create / adjust workflow diagrams using Visio and provide consultation(s) with PSPC / Contract Security Program (CSP) and other stakeholders.
- Act as System Architecture "Subject Matter Expert" liaising between the IM / IT Team, PSPC, and the solution integrator currently supporting the initiative.
