We have the great opportunity for a permanent position at Dunbar Physio.
The position begins part time 3 days per week growing into full time as your caseload increases.
We are six therapists in a bright and spacious clinic located in Vancouver's Westside by the Pacific Spirit Park and UBC. Our physios are experienced and are willing to share their knowledge.
Mentorship is provided for inexperienced/new graduate physiotherapists in a hands-on, guided and personal way. To facilitate therapist growth and knowledge, we provide regular one on one hourly sessions dealing with a preset topic list supplemented with ad-hoc meetings to deal with the clinical questions that arise. The successful candidate will have their treatment sessions overlapping with other physiotherapists.
Specialized skills practiced at our clinic include Manipulation, Acupuncture, IMS Therapy, BPPV rehab, Shockwave Therapy & Exercise rehab. Our clientele are primarily private patients; we do see 3rd party insurance patients though we do not do any 3rd party insurance programs.
The clinic runs on Jane Practice management and has been in business for 40 years .
All candidates will be considered for the position. Previous experience and further education are considered an asset for the position. We do welcome applications from new graduates and the public sector physios looking to complement their work in private practice.
