Package Handler Trainer

The holder must perform any additional assigned tasks, meet the minimum required thresholds for mandatory testing and training, work in a Windows environment, successfully complete periodic training, maintain annual accreditations if applicable, and work on different shifts as operational needs require. Holders in Quebec must be bilingual (French and English). In addition to standard selection criteria, candidates for positions requiring driving as a fundamental competency must hold a valid permit (e.g., Class 5, G or 1[AZ]) and have a record with no more than two infractions and / or accidents in the 24 months preceding the application. Candidates will also be evaluated on : 1) their annual driving record; 2) their interview performance; and 3) their results on administered driving evaluations.

Responsabilités

To load and unload freight, scan, and sort freight within the facility. To transport freight within and between facilities. Train other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record

Shift : Monday - Saturday (Wednesday off). 0600 - 1000AM
