Role :

The forklift operator is responsible for receiving, inspecting, moving, and shipping products.

Section 1. Description of Tasks and Responsibilities

1.1 Apple Reception

Responsible for receiving apples and empty apple boxes

Perform quality checks on apples upon reception

Identify apple varieties to create identification labels

Enter apple-related information into the system

Store apples in controlled atmosphere rooms and cold storage rooms

1.2 Apple Shipping

Ensure proper rotation of raw materials during shipping

Perform quality checks on apples before shipping

1.3 Other Tasks

Stack and separate empty apple boxes

Perform basic forklift maintenance

Replace the supervisor when needed

Section 2. Required Skills and Training

2.1 Skills

Experience operating a forklift (1–3 years) is an asset

Ability to work physically in challenging weather conditions

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to manage priorities effectively

Good computer skills

Forklift driving experience (1-3 years) an asset.

Ability to work physically in difficult climatic conditions.

Ability to work in a team

Good computer knowledge
