Packing Helper
As a Packing Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for packing and preparing orders for shipment in a timely manner, ensuring that all products are properly packaged and meet quality standards.
Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to the success of our team.
Responsibilities
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring that all items are packaged securely and accurately.
- Verify and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments, checking for damage or defects.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse, ensuring that all products are properly labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to insert weight pounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
