Fitter Welder

We are seeking a Fitter Welder to become an integral part of our metal fabrication team!

Responsibilities :

  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products using various technical and shop drawings.
  • Fitting and welding various assemblies of stainless steel.
  • Install and repair various components.
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.

Qualifications :

  • Ability to read various blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Experience in welding using various welding processes (MIG and TIG) and materials; stainless steel is mandatory.
  • Good Knowledge of welding tools and procedures.
  • Familiarity with engineering blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
  • Ability to handle physical workload; lift 30 lb or less, stand move and bend regularly.
  • Experience operating Overhead Cranes and Forklift is an asset.

Minimum two years experience in a welding / manufacturing setting.

CWB certification an asset

Experience with Flux core MIG welding for Stainless Steel required.

Shift Schedule : Monday to Friday (7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm)

Pay Rate : $30-$40 / hr based on experience and qualifications.

Your job title will be Fitter / Welder as a member of the custom fabrication team at S-FAB Fabrication Inc. (SFAB).

At all times, it will be required for you to assist your customers and co-workers to the best of your ability. You will report to the Shop Foreman for all direct day-to-day duties, and ultimately the Plant Manager.
