Overview

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with a strong background in database development, data engineering, and cloud computing. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SQL across various dialects, proficiency in data engineering with Python, hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and Google Cloud, working knowledge of Manufacturing and Distribution processes, familiarity with NetSuite and RF‑Smart. This role requires a balance of technical skills, with a primary focus on SQL development (65%), data engineering (20%), and cloud computing (15%) , alongside strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SQL Development (65%)

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers across multiple SQL dialects (e.g., T‑SQL, PL / SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Perform database denormalization and dimensional modeling to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Implement and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Fivetran, Fabric Copy Activity, DataFlow Gen 2, and Data Pipelines to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and optimization of database systems.
• Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust database solutions.

Qualifications

Required Experience

Denormalization and dimensional modeling for data warehousing.

Python programming for data analysis, transformation, and scripting.

Microsoft Fabric for data integration and analytics, including Fabric Copy Activity, DataFlow Gen 2, and Data Pipelines.
