Our company located in Midland Ontario, has been in operations since 1954 completing process of stamping and pressing of steel into seat belt components by way of bio solvents in our processes of plating Chrome / Nickel and Zinc products to support manufacturing plants globally.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Certified Tool and Die Maker
- Completed a 4-year Apprenticeship program in Tool and Die
- Maintain good housekeeping and be familiar with and follow all safe operating procedures
- Work rotating shifts and some overtime as required
Preferred Job Requirements :
- Grade 12 Education
- Physically fit
- Able to work as a team
- Good Mathematical Skill
- 5 years’ experience related to progressive dies, jigs and fixtures
- Have own tools
- Capable of working alone or with little supervision
- Able to trouble shoot and do repairs in a timely manner
- Knowledge of machinery in the tool room and flexible in using it
- Capable of performing within tight tolerances
