Job descriptionSupporting all the FOH daily operations; achieving the objective established by the General Manager by implementing decisions on every shift. Provide an excellent guest experience by exceeding guest's expectations of sincerity, friendliness, and willingness to please Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of menu items, including allergy restrictions, while ensuring staff are following the allergy protocol procedure Ensure guest complaints / concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully. Assisting in the training of all FOH staff Overseeing that all cleaning checklists are completed, ensuring a welcoming, safe, and sanitized facility Providing feedback to the GM and FOH Manager on FOH employee performance and equipment Ensure clear communication to employees and document when concerning any HR related situations Assisting FOH manager with ordering, inventory and FOH audits Completing daily cash reconciliation (in the absence of GM and FOH Manager) Communicating all issues outside of their scope of responsibility to the GM Ensuring that all employees are provided a work environment that is safe and free of any and all harassment Other duties as assigned. Maintaining SmartChoices certification Excellent coaching and team-building skills Experience in the FOH of a fast-paced restaurant Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal & written Outstanding organization and coordination skills Ability to be proactive in challenging situations
