As a Senior Project Control Officer at Hafman Consulting Group, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing complex projects within the banking sector.
You will work closely with project teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the highest standards of quality.
Your knowledge and experience in the banking industry will be instrumental in driving successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide project control expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Coordinate project activities and resources, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among project stakeholders
- Monitor and control project risks and issues, proactively identifying and mitigating potential obstacles to project success
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and recommended actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to support project deliverables
- Provide support and guidance to project managers and team members on project control and governance processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Control Officer in the banking industry
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence and Sharepoint
- Strong knowledge and understanding of project control methodologies and best practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse project teams and stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Managing program / project costs, assumptions, and risk-centered planning
- Conducting risk assessments and reporting status updates
