Avionics Technician

Job Description

The contractor will be working on the avionics components of the aircraft. Responsibilities will include installing avionics parts, wiring components, crimping, splicing, testing, installing, and troubleshooting the equipment. Some bench work may be required as it becomes available. Training on the specifics of the aircraft will be provided. The contractor will work in one of the three primary cells : Fuselage, Panel, or Wings.

• Troubleshoot avionics parts into the aircraft
• Wire components, crimp, and splice wires
• Test and install equipment
• Perform bench work as needed
• Work on teams based on experience

Work Environment

Located in Calgary. The shifts are Monday-Saturday, 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, with the possibility of 12-hour days. The facility has about 100 people and is looking to grow, with project teams ranging from 4-8 people in size.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00 / hr.
