Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Laser Operator to join our Edmonton production team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating fiber laser cutting machines similar to the BLM brand, ensuring accurate, efficient, and safe processing of metal components.

This role is critical in supporting our production schedules while maintaining our high-quality standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program fiber laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency to meet production targets.
• Set up machines, including loading / unloading materials, adjusting cutting parameters, and performing routine maintenance checks.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to ensure proper cutting specifications.
• Monitor cutting processes to maintain quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelines and company policies.
• Perform regular maintenance, proactive care, cleaning, and upkeep of the machine.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials and consumables used in the fiber laser process.
• Report machine performance, maintenance needs, and any production delays promptly.
