The Opportunity

VoPay is seeking a dynamic and results‑oriented Integrations Specialist to be the architect of VoPay’s 3rd‑party integrations. The ideal candidate will build, maintain, and optimize the bridges between our core platform and global financial institutions. The ideal candidate will translate the "old world" of banking (SOAP, ISO 20022, batch files) into the "new world" of VoPay’s API‑first ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

• Third‑Party Bridge Construction : Design and implement robust integrations with partners like Wells Fargo, Bank of America, MUXE, and Banking Circle.
• Protocol Translation : Navigate diverse communication methods including RESTful APIs, SOAP, SFTP‑based batch processing, and Webhooks.
• Ledger & State Management : Ensure that transaction statuses between VoPay and the 3rd party are always in sync (handling the "Pending‑to‑Success" lifecycle).
• Resiliency Engineering : Build "defensive" code. If a bank’s API goes down or returns a 500 error, your integration must handle retries, circuit breaking, and alerting without crashing VoPay’s core.
• Compliance‑First Coding : Strictly adhere to PCI‑DSS, SOC2, and regional banking regulations (e.g., NACHA for US, FINTRAC for Canada).
