Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Growing the sales of Monarch products within the assigned territory.
- Managing the complete sales cycle from consultation with customers to closing.
- Identifying new customers through research, networking and cold calling.
- Implementing marketing plans to increase sales and margins.
- Proactively managing existing accounts while prospecting for new business within existing customer base.
- Developing and implementing detailed plans to maximize sales for each customer.
- Collaborating with Business Development, Product Management and Engineering to develop effective sales plans, ensuring sales and margin targets are met in the near term and sustained into the future.
- Facilitating improved communication within the organization by monitoring current and future requirements to ensure Monarch is well positioned to sustain and increase business.
- Monitoring customers’ business conditions and communicating with the organization to ensure customer service and financial targets are being met.
- Compiling and communicating accurate sales forecasts continuously.
- Conduct all activities and execute all duties with enthusiasm and a positive, results- focused attitude.
- Support company initiatives and policies enthusiastically.
- Travel throughout North America approximately one week a month.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
- An established track record of selling technical or industrial products and solutions, demonstrating success through various market conditions.
- Experience that demonstrates capability of developing solutions with customers’ Engineering Departments.
- Will have experience and success selling to OEM’s.
Education Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
