QA Automation Engineer

The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by designing, executing, and maintaining effective test strategies and automation frameworks. This role works closely with development, product, and business teams in an Agile environment to validate functionality, performance, reliability, and end-to-end quality across applications, APIs, and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure high-quality software releases
• Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies, automation frameworks, and QA best practices
• Perform UI automation using Java Selenium and API testing using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured
• Execute mobile, system, integration, and regression testing across multiple platforms
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to align testing with requirements
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects to closure using test management tools
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines to enable continuous quality validation
• Ensure test coverage across system dependencies and product integration phases
• Leverage AI tools and LLM concepts to enhance test coverage and testing efficiency
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and automation opportunities
• Coordinate tool enhancement and infrastructure needs with infra / tools teams
• Communicate testing status, risks, and quality metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences
