On behalf of our World Class Manufacturing client, we are currently recruiting a Database / Cloud Engineer to assist them with creating a cloud based system and migrating all of their data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and Deployment : Create scalable, highly available database architectures on cloud platforms.
- Maintenance & Optimization : Monitor, troubleshoot, and tune database performance (indexing, partitioning, caching).
- Migration : Transition on-premise systems to cloud platforms, including OLTP / OLAP workloads.
- Security & Compliance : Implement policies, network security, encryption, and backups to meet compliance standards.
- Data Pipelines : Develop and maintain a tracking system for gauges in the Dyno Teardown area. Utilize system SharePoint, Data Collection Database and cloud storage software(s) to collect, gather and store data. Organize large volume of system data
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer Science3-5 years of experience in database administration or data engineeringCloud Expertise : Deep knowledge of Sharepoint (Microsoft 365)Database Management : Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB), and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in PythonNetworking & Security : Understanding of cloud security principles and network configurations.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
