Location Hamilton/Burlington Ontario Area

An integrator of material handling products for distribution centers is seeking a Auto Cad Designer/who will fit into a dynamic and fast paced environment. Based in Burlington Ontario 3D serves clients such as Amazon UPS and Home Hardware in locations across the country.

This candidate will work in conjunction with the sales and design teams to assist with producing AutoCAD layout drawings as well as handling all facets of the permitting process that we undertake on behalf of our clients.

Hours of Work:8:30am to 4:30pm

This is an in-office position however some hybrid work may be possible

*The Ideal Candidate is someone with 1-2 years experience fluent with AutoCad

Core Duties:

• AutoCAD designing

Working with our sales and design team create layout drawings using AutoCAD

Making site visits to client locations to establish building parameters and evaluate existing rack layouts

On larger more complicated projects participating with members of the sales team on presentations of the layouts to our customers

• Project Management

Assisting the sales team in processing orders creating purchase orders following up with vendors co-ordinating installers

Checking approval drawings

Verifying delivery of materials ensuring quantities are correct and orders are complete

Some work will be visiting clients with the sales reps and measuring out the client space
