Product Development Technician (Lighting)

Role Summary

Help run day-to-day Product Development operations : organize projects, control documentation (SOP / AVL), coordinate samples and tests, keep specs and IES / SPD libraries current, and maintain schedule. This role acts as the central coordinator for the Product Development team—keeping projects, documents, and vendors aligned so work moves forward smoothly. It also includes basic DMX / SPI lighting control support, such as addressing fixtures and creating simple scenes.

Core Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Maintain PD schedules, risk / action logs, and decision logs; prepare a weekly status update.
• Book photometry and safety tests; track ETAs for samples, tooling, and lab reports.
• Own meeting notes and follow-ups with vendors, labs, and internal teams.
