Job descriptionPlan workforce needs and carry out the selection hiring integration and continuous training of personnel in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager and human resources department; Determine and assign tasks to employees under your responsibility ensuring the achievement of objectives; Ensure that the level and quality of personnel in place are adequate to manage all tasks without delay throughout the year while maintaining performance objectives (KPI); Verify and approve employee timesheets and manage absence requests; Ensure compliance with company standards and policies; Manage personnel discipline under your responsibility conduct disciplinary meetings when necessary and follow up rigorously with the Warehouse Manager and human resources; Foster a climate conducive to productive exchanges by promoting teamwork; Participate in the annual performance appraisal process for personnel based on established criteria and set individual development goals; Ensure compliance with and application of health and safety rules at work; Encourage and mobilize your work teams; Perform any other related tasks. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a team leader or supervisor role; Strong business acumen focused on efficiency and productivity; Marked interest in coaching and developing a team to reach its full potential; Ability to delegate; Strong ability to lead manage inspire and mobilize a team; Adaptability and ease in understanding and improving operational processes; Ability to plan organize and prioritize to manage effectively; Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; Experience with an ERP computerized inventory system and proficiency in the Office suite. 40 hours / week schedule; Work clothes provided with company branding; Excellent group insurance program tailored to your needs; Employer-sponsored group RRSP; Telemedicine service Dialogue ; Anti-stress account : you can choose between a health management account or a personal expense account : Amount can range from $300 to $700; (Services related to physical activity physical activity equipment health-related products and services education and personal development etc.); Employee assistance program; Staff training and development program; Electric vehicle charging station at your disposal; Laptop and cell phone provided ; Social club (several activities throughout the year); Popcorn machine and fruit tray at your disposal; Referral program : $500 is paid to the employee if the person stays 3 months and another $500 if they stay 1 year; Discounts on tire and accessory purchases; Career prospects working at Distribution Stox can take you far; And much more!
Responsabilities : Operations
- Plan organize direct and control the daily operational activities of warehousing and transportation of goods;
- Ensure proper management of storage areas to ensure order priorities are met;
- Maintain and improve operational processes for handling labeling and packaging goods;
- Prepare and participate in the annual inventory in collaboration with employees;
- Ensure the smooth operation of activities in collaboration with team leaders by organizing daily meetings with them;
- Conduct or ensure start-of-shift meetings and discussions with employees (DMS);
- Manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment;
- Support the team on the floor by occasionally participating in and assisting with the handling of goods when necessary.
