Forklift Operator

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a busy plumbing distributor, where you will operate a reach truck and order picker while ensuring adherence to safety standards. This role requires both operating machinery and performing some physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck and order picker efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all safety standards, including wearing a harness.
• Engage in physical tasks and manual handling as required.
• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.
• Perform shipping, receiving, loading, and packing tasks.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Material Handling Equipment (reach truck & order picker).
• 2+ years of warehouse forklift experience.
• RF scanner experience.
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a modified night shift from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vaughan, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.97 - $22.97/hr.
