THE ROLE : The Firmware Security Engineering group is responsible for developing Platform Security and Content Protection features across the software stack including device drivers, firmware, and application-level interfaces. Within the larger Security group, the GPU Platform Security Team is responsible for the Firmware Security Stack that runs on the entire range of AMD Graphics Processing Units which include Cloud / Consumer Gaming, Workstation, Data Center and AI, enabling our customers to build solutions and driving the next wave of innovation in Exascale computing. THE PERSON : We are currently seeking a highly motivated Technical Program Manager for our next generation of products. In this role, you will drive development, validation and debug efforts while providing ownership for HW and SW features which span the security stack. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Engage with leadership to understand and capture scope, establish project schedules, and develop resource and budget estimations. Assess and communicate program status and risk to leadership, while supporting geographically distributed engineering and validation team with execution In conjunction with technical leads, drive and influence presilicon emulation, post-silicon validation and ASIC bring-up, towards successful enablement of security centric features. Drive process improvements initiatives in order to improve overall execution of programs. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE : Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, responding to changing business and technical conditions with minimal direction. Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and program management skills. Experience in the semi-conductor domain with knowledge of pre / post silicon development would be an asset. Experience with low level development including device drivers, embedded firmware and SOC validation would be an asset. Knowledge of Cryptography, DRM & Platform Security concepts would be an asset.
